Liquor Depot Store Manager
About the Position
As a Store Manager, you will be the face of Liquor Depot, leading your team to deliver world-class customer service and support the development of your fellow team members. You will work closely with your team to achieve sales, service, and operational goals. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will create a sales and service culture within the store to expand our customer base and enhance the shopping experience. The Store Manager is expected to serve fellow teammates and invest in their growth.
Responsibilities
• Lead and Develop Your Team: Foster a sales-focused environment by training and coaching team members to excel in their roles.
• Champion Customer Service: Uphold and exemplify Liquor Depot’s customer service standards, ensuring every customer enjoys an exceptional shopping experience.
• Drive Sales and Brand Growth: Build the Liquor Depot brand by prioritizing a customer-centric shopping environment and actively engaging with shoppers.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee store operations, including staffing, scheduling, merchandising, and compliance with Liquor Depot’s standards.
• Inventory Management: Manage store inventory, including ordering, pricing, signage, displays, and vendor relationships to optimize product availability.
• Performance Management: Lead performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and guide the team to achieve their professional goals.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and company regulations, including TABC guidelines.
What We’re Looking For
• Age Requirement: 21 years or older.
• Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: Previous management experience or completion of the Liquor Depot MIT program is required. Proven track record in leading and inspiring teams, driving sales performance, and coaching team members.
• Team Player: Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to acting as a team player.
• Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.
• Certifications: Must maintain a valid TABC beverage seller’s permit.
Physical Requirements
• Safety Adherence: Strictly follow Liquor Depot’s safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Physical Ability: Ability to lift 50 lbs. overhead and repeatedly using proper lifting techniques, walk, bend, stand for 8-10 hours a day, and climb ladders or step stools.
